The town of Thale is located in the wildly romantic Bode Valley. Known by the Hexentanzplatz
and the Rosstrappe.
You can take the cable car of the Seilbahnen Thale. Up here you will find the mountain theatre and a beautifully landscaped animal enclosure. An experience is the Harzbob on the Hexentanzplatz. A thousand meters at 40 km/h it goes down the valley. You can go up to the Rosstrappe.
In mid-June 2008, a climbing forest opened right next to the valley station of the chairlifts to the Rosstrappe. Fun is guaranteed for young and old.
Since mid-July 2009 there has been an indoor golf centre in Thale for all golf enthusiasts who want to pursue their leisure activities even in bad weather.
For convivial bowling evenings, we can recommend the Warnstedter Krug, four kilometers north of Thale.
